Introduction to Photo Editing

Overview

Whether you already have an existing passion for photography or want to learn something new, this course is a great first step into the world of photo editing.

At the end of the course, you will be able to confidently edit photographs using industry-leading software (Photoshop) and create high-quality graphics which can be used for leisure or business.

  • Monday 14th February 2022 (9am-5pm)
  • Monday 25th April 2022 (9am-5pm)
  • Tuesday 28th June 2022 (9am-5pm)

Costs

  • This course is FREE if you are 19+ and unemployed and receiving relevant benefits
  • If you are 19+ not receiving benefits the course will cost £25.00

What will I study?

  • Introduction to the basics
  • Understanding the editing tools available in Photoshop
  • Designing graphics that you can use for your business or your own personal projects
  • Learning how to fix flaws, swap backgrounds, add effects and mix up colours
  • Learning how to blend and layer different photos together, add graphics, text, image and colours
  • Get creative with digital drawing, painting or doodling to create your own art work.

Entry requirements

No standard entry requirements but basic computer skills are beneficial.
