GCSE Maths - Level 2

Overview

This course is no longer taking applications for academic year 2024/25.

This GCSE maths course aims to help you achieve a qualification that is widely recognised and requested by employers or for progression into university-level study.

Start dates and fees

If you have a GCSE at grade 3/D (or lower) in maths, the cost will be FREE.
If you have a GCSE at grade 4/C (or above) in maths, the cost will be £812.

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£203.00) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect a further three payments of £203.00 bi-monthly. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

What will I study?

The course will follow the GCSE mathematics curriculum at foundation level with AQA examination board.

The course will cover the board topics of:

number
algebra
measure, shape and space
statistics

There will be an option to take the higher paper and this will based on continual assessment by your tutor.

Entry requirements

This course is for learners aged 19+ only
For learners who have achieved a GCSE at grade 3/D (or lower) in maths and aiming to improve their grade.
Before you can enrol onto this course, you will be invited to a welcome event and tasked at completing a computer-based assessment to assess your suitability onto this course.
