Biography
Qualifications include a first-class BSc Honours Degree and a Master’s Degree at Distinction, along with a PGCE in Secondary Geography Education and a PGCE in Further Education.
He holds both QTS and QTLS status and is a member of the Society for Education and Training.
Dan has 12 years’ experience in teaching and has travelled extensively, working in the travel and tourism industry whilst living in Australia for a year.
Dan has taught many travel and tourism units with both BTEC and City and Guilds, teaching at levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. He was course leader of the HND in tourism management while working at Nottingham College.
Dan helped to set up a travel and tourism college in The Gambia called ITTOG (Institute for Travel and Tourism of the Gambia), which is now a sustainable business.
His hobbies include playing tennis, travelling, reading, and watching Nottingham Forest!
