Biography

Before getting into teaching, Alex spent four years in education completing an undergraduate degree in Sport Coaching and Development at University of Derby and a Research Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Nottingham Trent University.

After this, Alex then completed a PGCE with a focus on teaching within sport; during this time, he spent his placement at West Notts College. Since completing his teaching qualification, Alex has continued to teach sport at the college.

Outside of teaching, Alex has now been officiating across semi-professional football for multiple years. As well as this, he likes to take part in multiple sports such as football, golf, and tennis.
