Biography

Theresa has an extensive career in the both the Further and Higher Education sector where she has over 30 years teaching experience in early years and health and social Care. During this time, she has achieved a BSC honours degree in psychology, PGCE teaching qualification and early years advanced qualifications.

She has been instrumental in programme development of both educational programmes and apprenticeships at both local and national level, ranging from Level 1 to degree level. Theresa is also a qualified assessor, moderator, and has been an external moderator of quality and programmes in the FE sector.

Theresa has experience in a variety of settings such as day nurseries, special needs schools, family centres, pupil referral units and secure units.

She has also studied and experienced the education and health care systems in Sweden.

One of Theresa’s main key achievements is being able to work and support young people in the FE sector with many of her students progressing to university and work.
