Biography

Kelly qualified as a teacher in July 2020 and became a new addition to the health and social care department at West Nottinghamshire College in August 2021.

After gaining a Foundation Degree in Children and Young Peoples Services and a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, Kelly went on to work as a teaching assistant in a variety of different educational establishments, giving her a wealth of experience in the education sector.

It was while Kelly was working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, supporting students within health and social care, that she found a love for the subject. This inspired her in 2018 to go back to college in order to finally gain her teaching qualification.

Kelly now delivers on Level 2 and Level 3 health and social care courses here at the college, as well as being a part of the A Level team.
