Biography
Sally began her professional career as a graduate trainee within the House of Fraser department store group, having graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Business from Sheffield University. She progressed to become a department manager in the Nottingham store.
After eight years in retail Sally moved into NVQ assessing, working for a small training provider specialising in retail and customer service. It was here she found her interest in teaching and moved to West Nottinghamshire College to complete her PGCE and became a programme area leader for Functional Skills in the media and performing arts department. She has since worked at Nottingham College and Chesterfield College before returning to West Nottinghamshire College in September 2021.
Outside of college Sally enjoys keeping fit when she finds time around parental duties!
Sally is a skilled and fully-qualified teacher and assessor, with over 19 years’ experience across Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics.
