Biography
Naveed has been a mathematics teacher within the Further Education sector for over seven years, delivering a variety of subjects, ranging from Functional Skills Maths to Level 3 Engineering Mechanics. He has recently completed his Certificate in Education and joined West Nottinghamshire College in August 2023 as GCSE Maths teacher, primarily working within the foundation learning team.
When asked why he became a mathematics teacher, he stated that he wants to share his enthusiasm for the subject and would like to see his students realise their potential. He is passionate about working alongside students with additional learning needs, striving to support them not only with their maths qualifications, but increasing their confidence inside and outside of the classroom.
Outside of college, Naveed enjoys cycling to keep fit, reading about sociology and psychology, alongside spending time with his family.
