Biography
As an experienced design and media specialist, Anthony has a BA (Honours) Degree in Creative Media from Derby University and is a fully qualified teacher (Cert Ed). Anthony is a long standing member of staff who has previously taken responsibility for course coordination and delivery on our HND and BA Media programmes as well as teaching at level 3.
As a highly skilled 3D teacher, Anthony is able to use a wide range of software including Lightwave, Unity, Maya and Photoshop. Anthony also has extensive experience working with a variety of clients and setting up live briefs, enabling students to follow artistic direction, plan and pitch and communicate ideas and concepts from start to finish.
Under Anthony’s tutelage students have created design work for clients such as JCB, Arsenal Football Club, Linney Group, Albino Igil, Fuzzy Frog, NHS, Framestore, Mansfield District Council and Aphrodite Rock Brewery in Cyprus!
Anthony has been responsible for the Create Expo, an industry conference hosted by Create Theatre in Mansfield and has planned and organised the event, with guest speakers from industry including professional illustrators, visual effects artists, graphic designers, virtual reality creators and games concept artists.
Anthony has worked professionally as digital designer for special projects, creating marketing and promotional material. Anthony has worked as a freelance graphic designer creating 2D media and print.
With a talent for thinking outside the box and coming up with innovative ideas and designs, he loves the world of technology and design.
