Biography

Having spent 12 years in London as a maternity nurse, Julie returned to Nottinghamshire to turn a dream into a reality. A successful entrepreneur, Julie set up a family entertainment centre in Nottingham in 2008. She left the company in 2017 and started her West Notts journey. Now a qualified employability and skills mentor she teaches and coaches students within business and digital working with level 1 and 2 learners helping and supporting them to progress and achieve.

Julie is also an operations director for the business and digital learning company Resolve IT. She set the PC repair company up in 2019 and continues to run this successfully with the help of business and digital students. Julie encourages students to apply for different roles at Resolve IT such as, business and HR managers, technical managers, technicians, web developers, graphic designers, marketers and business administrators. Resolve IT offers work placement opportunities to students as this is a mandatory part of their college course.
