First aid courses

First aid courses are designed to equip your employees with the skills to help those who have been involved in an incident or accident within the workplace.

As part of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, the government requires all employers to ensure their employees have access to some form of medical attention when they are injured or taken ill at work. Employers therefore need to make sure they have appointed an appropriate amount of first aiders with the right first aid training.

First aid training provides people with the skills and knowledge to help those who have been involved in an incident.

First Aid requirements calculator

Our easy to use calculator has 3 simple steps and only take a few minutes to complete. It will use HSE guidance to provide you with a full breakdown of how many first aiders you need and what type of training they require.
