National Apprenticeship Week 2024

National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 February) brings together everyone passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate the value, benefit and opportunity that they bring.

Co-ordinated by apprenticeships.gov.uk, the 17th annual week-long campaign is backed by thousands of apprenticeship employers, training providers, schools, colleges and universities across the country. It showcases the benefits of apprenticeships and connected skills offers, highlighting the progression opportunities, exciting new occupational standards, and lots more.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2024 is ‘Skills for Life’ to show how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and how employers can develop a workforce with future-ready skills.

At West Nottinghamshire College we currently have over 1,200 apprentices studying with us, working in sectors such as construction and engineering, digital and IT, hair and beauty, business and management, and healthcare.
