Overview

Are you passionate about working in hospitality but need to gain an awareness of food safety?

The Food Safety Act 1990 (as amended) provides the framework for all food legislation in the UK. Our CPD accredited Level 2 Food Safety Awareness course covers the legislation under the Food Safety Act and the principles of food safety and hygiene for food handlers.

The topics within this course have been carefully selected to give you awareness of some of the key areas within food safety and will give you basic knowledge that can be discussed in an interview or prepare you for further study.

Distance learning courses enable you to undertake learning in a flexible way; you can study around your existing commitments and responsibilities, and it is great for developing your confidence in your newfound skills.

If you’re unemployed and looking to get back into work, an online course could give you the motivation you need to succeed in your goals. By choosing to study an online course, you can study at your own pace whilst benefiting from high-quality teaching and support from our experienced teachers.

This qualification is primarily designed to prepare learners for further learning or training.
