What will I study?

Our experienced instructors will guide you through handling various emergency situations for adult casualties, including:

  • Assessing an incident
  • Choking
  • CPR and defibrillation
  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • Minor injuries including, cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds
  • Recovery position
  • Seizures
  • Shock
  • The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
  • Wounds and bleeding.
  • Entry requirements
    • This course is only available to adults aged 19+.
    • No formal qualifications are required to take this course.
  • Assessment
    • Theory assessments (multiple choice question papers).
    • Practical assessments.
