Teacher: Beauty

Biography

Hi, I’m Amy the Level 2 beauty teacher. I have worked at the college for over fifteen years, teaching and assessing across all the levels of beauty therapy from Level 1 to the Foundation Degree. I always keep my teaching up-to-date taking into consideration the latest trends.

My industry background started from working as a beauty therapist in health clubs across the East Midlands, progressing from therapist to salon manager. I trained in advanced Tai and deep tissue massage techniques, I then specialised with Pulse light hair removal and ran clinics around a large chain of salons.

I have been lucky enough to work with world class product houses such as; Dermalogica, Espa and Elemis and for the last few years in industry I was lucky enough to work for Dermalogica as a skin demonstrator, holding skin care education sessions for salons.

I can’t wait to use this experience and knowledge to support you on your journey to becoming a qualified beauty therapist and progress into higher levels.
