What is an Access to University course?
If you’re aged 19 or over and want to study for a university-level course but don’t have the necessary qualifications, then our Access to University courses are perfect for you.
Access to University courses are aimed specifically at people who want to return to education – with the aim of helping them to unlock new career prospects.
The college offers a range of Access to University courses, providing routes onto various career pathways, in sectors including business and law, humanities, science, social work, sport and teacher training (primary education).
The courses last just one year meaning you’re able to move on to university quickly, fully-equipped with the skills needed to study at a higher-level. Upon completion, you will gain an Access to HE Diploma qualification, which is recognised by universities and employers alike.
