CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management - Level 5
Overview
As one of the CIPD Approved Centres, West Notts successfully deliver the current Level 5 qualifications. The new CIPD qualifications are being introduced in 2021. Based on the new Profession Map, the qualifications focus on the knowledge and behaviours required to create value and make an impact in the changing world of work. The new qualifications set the standard for people professionals.

Qualifications we offer at West Notts:
This qualification builds on the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice and is aimed at learners looking to expand their knowledge or progress their career in HR. The level 5 will give a deeper level of understanding, behaviours and skills development in people practice.
Who is the qualification suitable for?
This qualification builds on the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice. It is aimed at HR professionals who would like to further develop their capability and evolve into more senior people professional roles. It is suitable for people who are already in a HR role and aspiring to progress in their career or develop their skills and knowledge to be more effective in people management.

On top of the course fees, you will be required to join The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), which will incur additional charges.

Entry requirements
English and maths level 2
Completion of an initial face to face or telephone interview to ascertain whether the course is suitable and right for you.
Part of the requirement for the level 5 course is that learners are in a HR/People Practice role or they have acquired prior learning and experience which will ensure the qualification is appropriate.
How long is the course?
39 weeks.
How will I be assessed?
The course is mainly face to face, with a variety of teaching and assessment methods. There are no exams.
There is a requirement for some independent study and this is supported by a range of resources from our Learning Resource Centre and other platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams.
