Be part of the 'Learning Company'
One of the great benefits to studying Sports at West Nottinghamshire College is the opportunity to take part in our learning company: Movement and Fitness. Movement and Fitness is all about promoting healthy living and exercise within the college community. Open to all Level 2 and 3 Sports students, working as a Movement and Fitness coach is a chance to gain valuable experience leading group exercise classes for staff and students.
Bring your passion for sports into a real-world work environment and learn how to lead fun, engaging and challenging classes that promote healthy living and exercise. Being a part of this programme is a chance to gain a whole host of transferrable skills that will be valued both in the world of sports and fitness and beyond. Our facilities
Our Derby Road campus has a wide range of facilities and sports equipment to suit all needs and provide exciting training spaces.
With a Sport England-accredited sports hall, a 3G astroturf pitch, a full-size grass football pitch, a dedicated sports science laboratory, and more, you can enjoy using a wide range of facilities that support your learning.
Off-site, you will also benefit from exclusive access to the Mansfield Town training grounds, where students enrolled on the Mansfield Town Performance Programme undertake regular practice sessions.
