The purpose of this role is to lead and inspire a department to provide excellent teaching and learning resulting in outstanding results and outcomes for our students.    

The post holder will be part of a directorate led by an Assistant Principal.   You will be accountable for the success of your department, measured through high success rates, high quality teaching and learning, student satisfaction surveys and high levels of progression to further study, higher education or employment.

The post holder will work with other department heads to deliver continuous improvement, share practice and deliver projects where required.

The role will require you to embed the college’s values; Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, High Expectations, Responsibility.
