We have an opportunity for a dynamic and professional individual qualified in an appropriate discipline to develop and teach on Initial Teacher Education programmes and the BA (Hons) Education Studies.

The primary focus will be developing, planning, teaching, assessing and monitoring; apprenticeships for the subject area whilst being involved in planning, teaching and assessing on Initial Teacher Education programmes and the BA (Hons) Education Studies.

Apprenticeship delivery is a growing area within the team and the college makes a substantial contribution to the Government’s apprenticeship strategy.

As part of the HE delivery team it would be desirable if you are qualified to level 7 in an appropriate subject.

This is a 0.5 post and carries with it a requirement to work regular evenings and occasional weekends.  

You will be a highly self-motivated and driven individual, with a strong team focus ethic.  You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets. 

You will have understanding of the professional apprenticeship standards and governance. This will preferably be supported by your understanding of the associated funding system and apprenticeship reforms.

The role will require you to take on and work to the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.
