Engineering and motor vehicle open evening

Thursday 2 February 2017 | 5.30pm - 7:00pm

Location

Engineering Innovation Centre (Oddicroft Lane - NG17 5FA)

What to expect

Come and see why our facilities are the best in the region for qualifications in engineering and transport skills. The Engineering Innovation Centre, which opened in 2015, houses industry-standard equipment and the latest nano, carbon and hybrid technologies to ensure students who study here are work ready once they leave us.

Our open evenings are a chance for you to see our facilities, talk about course options and decide if college is right for you.

When you arrive
Make your way to the main reception where you will be greeted by our friendly staff in red t-shirts who will pass you an open evening guide and our latest course guide that contains plenty of useful information.

Talk to tutors
You'll be able to talk to tutors from engineering, motor vehicle and fabrication and welding on the evening, who will be able to answer any questions you may have about the courses on offer and life at college.

Apply for your course early!
We have application forms and staff on hand to assist you in applying on the night. Or you can take the information away with you and apply online when you’re ready.

What to bring

You won’t need to bring anything with you on the night, just your friends, family and any burning questions you might have.

Getting here

Our campuses are accessible via road, and are in close proximity to the train stations.

Bus and taxi services are also available.

There is ample parking on-site.

Getting around

Your first visit to college can be quite daunting. If you or a member of your party get lost during the evening or you need help navigating your way around, our team in red t-shirts will be happy to help you find your way around campus.
