An adventurous spirit in Wanderlust

Posted: 15 July 2014

Theatre company in residence at Create Theatre – The Gramophones – are enjoying rehearsals in the lead up to Wanderlust, showing at the theatre on Friday 25 July.

Wanderlust will take you on an incredible adventure
Wanderlust will take you on an incredible adventure

The show, which starts at 7.30pm, is about a journey across Great Britain.  The journey will transport the audience through abandoned buildings and forbidden passageways, under bridges and hedgerows, down river rapids and into strangers’ cars.

The story will make the heart pound and the brow sweat with the stories of danger and adventure and told with a twist – accompanied by live music and magic to wake up the Wanderlust.

The Gramophones last performed at Create Theatre in 2013 with their production of End to End.

Theatre co-ordinator Adam Pownall said: “We are very passionate about supporting emerging artists and The Gramophones really bring action and adventure to this show.

“It’s been a pleasure having them as company in residence, while they rehearse for this production.”

Tickets for the show cost £5 per person and can be purchased by calling 01623 413363 or by visiting the website at www.createtheatre.co.uk
