Applicants’ events
On receipt of your application we will contact you and invite you to attend an Applicants’ Event.
The Applicants’ Event will include a short presentation on college life, guidance on student finance, and an informal interview where you will learn more about your programme of study. One of our student advocates will be available to answer any questions you may have about life as an HE student at the college. We aim to provide important information to help you to plan this move to university level study, so please allow around two hours.
So that we can progress your application as quickly as possible, please bring two references to the interview. If you are still in education one of these should be from your teacher/tutor and if you are in employment one should be from your current employer where possible. Please also bring with you any Level 3 qualifications/certificates. If you are unable to provide evidence of your qualifications in literacy and numeracy you will be asked to complete a short online diagnostic. Non English speakers may be asked to complete a language assessment.
