An apprentice is an employed student who learns both in the workplace and at college, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money at the same time.

What do I get out of it?

As an apprentice you will get paid a wage for the work you’re doing, gain genuine work experience in the industry of your choice and receive excellent teaching and support from college. You will work towards national vocational qualifications in an area relevant to the job you will be doing and for your future career.

These types of qualifications are highly regarded by employers because they demonstrate that you have the skills and practical experience they require. We can offer access to over 250 companies and over 19 vocational areas in the local area.
