Software for Staff

All current staff of the college can now benefit from discounted software through our partnership with selected vendors. The list below provides details of the software available and how to download it.

Please note that Vision West Notts does not offer support for installing or using any of the software below on your home computer. In all cases please contact the software manufacturer in question rather than ITWorks!.

Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 2010

Members of staff can benefit from a significant discount on Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (£6.15 +VAT) and Office 2010 Professional Pro (£6.15 +VAT). These payments are made to e-academy, not Vision West Notts and represent the minimum cost of providing this service (no profit is made by the college).

Before you can purchase and download the software you will be asked to confirm your identity by entering the username and password that you use to access college computers.

Sophos Endpoint Security (Anti-Virus)

Staff are also entitled to a free copy of Sophos Endpoint Security software. In order to download this software you will need to confirm your identity by entering the username and password that you use to access college computers.
