£1000 on completion of army training. What are you waiting for?
The army has teamed up with West Nottinghamshire College to offer the Army FE Bursary
Scheme. You can get up to £3,000 while you’re at college (depending on the length of
your course/s), then join the Army after the end of the course, where you’ll train
for a job and start an exciting career. Once you have completed Army training, you’ll
qualify for a further £1000.
There are a range of courses the Army is supporting. All the courses will give you a
fully recognised qualification and the basics you need for a job in the Army. You
could choose a course in IT, Engineering, Catering, Public Services, Construction or
Vehicle Repair & Technology to name but a few.
- Studying for a full level 2/3 course, although studying for other courses may be acceptable.
- Aged between 16-32
- A British resident
- Physically fit
- Interested in a career in the Army

If you complete your college course and pass the Army selection tests you will be required to commit to four years with the Army as a soldier.
