Wood Occupations - Bench/Diploma NVQ Level 2 (parts 1 and 2)

Overview

This course is designed to prepare you for a career in the wood occupations industry by instilling the job knowledge and practical skills required for this sector.

How long is the course?

One year.

How will I be assessed?

You will be expected to collect work-based evidence and photos for a porfolio, which will enable achievement of the NVQ.

What will I study?

You'll study a wide a range of modules that will include the following:

- Move and handle resources
- Manufacture routine products
- Conform to efficient work practices
- Produce setting out details for routine products

You will also be expected to undertake Functional Skills in English and Maths.

What can I go on to study?

Upon successful completion you could progress to the NVQ Level 3 course.

Entry requirements

Applicants with trade experience or a relevant Construction Diploma at Level 1 may apply.

How much does it cost?

The total price for both parts (the NVQ and Diploma) is £1,262. Please note - both parts MUST be studied together (see details below).
