This course will develop your self-confidence and prepare you for the world of employment.

How long is the course?

One year.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through your portfolio work, online tests and your practical assessments.

What will I study?

The course will develop your interview skills, personal presentation skills, personal and social development skills and functional skills in Maths, English and ICT.

In addition, you'll also complete vocational units aimed at providing you with valuable practical skills.

What does the course lead to?

Upon completion you could choose to utilise your new skills by gaining employment.

What can I go on to study?

Progression opportunities upon successful completion of the course include level 2 courses available at Vision West Notts or an apprenticeship in a wide range of industry areas.
