Overview
This 4 week part-time evening course is aimed at facilitating candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Electrical Installation.

- 5-8pm (Monday and Tuesday)
Cost
- FREE - aged 19+ and unemployed and receiving the relevant benefit.
- FREE - aged 19+ and not receiving benefits, but are earning less than £22,308 (please bring evidence of one wage slip dated within 3 months)
- £75 - if you do not fall into any of the above criteria.
What will I study?
You will study:
- Wiring and terminals
- Fabrication techniques
- Electrical science and technology
Entry requirements
- This course is only available to learners aged 19+.
- No previous experience or skills are required.
How long is the course?
4 weeks.
How will I be assessed?
Practical assessment.
What does the course lead to?
Completing this course could lead to working n a junior electrical installer role within construction or as a maintenance professional, either employed or self-employed.
Large employers in the area include local council maintenance departments and schools.
