Overview

The ACS courses provide the mandatory qualifications required if you intend to become a gas engineer or the starting point for updating your work qualifications if you are currently working in the industry.

Description

This is open to candidates who currently hold appliance certification or whose tickets have not expired by more than one year.

This is a shortened assessment covering basic safety checks and one theory paper for HTR1RA

How long is the course?

1 week.

How will I be assessed?

Practical assessments cover:

Checking operational safety components which are defective
Recognition of satisfactory/unsatisfactory component operation
One short theory paper

Success rates

100% achievement since approval.

What can I go on to study?

LPG changeover updating and assessments for permanent dwellings, residential park homes and leisure accomodation vehicles.
LPG sector specific caravan appliances
