Excellent student support services
We’ve got a great student support network offering advice and guidance on careers and future employment, finance, health and welfare, additional learning support and much more.
This FREE adult-only (19+), part-time course is ideal if you are seeking a new career, looking to learn new skills, or want to explore ways to improve your own health and wellbeing. This course is perfect for beginners, even if you have no previous experience in beauty or complementary therapies. If you are returning to learning after a break or starting something completely new, you will be supported by experienced tutors who have many years of experience helping adult learners succeed.
You will study in small class sizes alongside like-minded adults, creating a friendly and supportive learning environment. All practical training takes place in Revive, our professional commercial hair and beauty salon that is open to the public and equipped with industry-standard facilities that are unrivalled in the area, giving you valuable hands-on experience.
You will gain an understanding of a range of complementary therapy techniques, including basic massage, basic reflexology, basic aromatherapy, and more. The topics within this course have been carefully selected as the perfect stepping stone into the world of complementary therapies and will open the door to progression onto further study and advanced courses.
Although this course is FREE for adults aged 19+, all hair and beauty courses require the purchase of a specific kit and uniform. It is your responsibility to finance these purchases independently, as there is no funding currently available. Please be aware that the current price for the required uniform is £45.80*. The prices for the required kit and uniform will be determined at the start of the year.
This course is only available to students aged 19+.
The qualification is assessed by both written and practical assessments.
