CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing

Overview

This qualification is designed for those who are currently in junior positions in marketing, or aspire to forge a career in marketing.

It is also particularly useful to those moving into marketing roles from other backgrounds, or those working on the peripheries of marketing in a support role.

Description

The CIM qualification will enable you to learn about the whole spectrum of marketing activities at a hands-on level, gaining a greater understanding of the best practice in marketing and a professional qualification that will aid career progression.

How long is the course?

27 weeks.

How will I be assessed?

Two examinations and two projects.

What will I study?

The course will cover the following:

Marketing fundamentals
Customer communications
Marketing environment
Marketing in practice

What does the course lead to?

You could progress onto the Professional Diploma in Marketing or apply for positions within marketing using your qualification.

Entry requirements

To attend this course you will need to have one of the following:

Work experience in marketing

An Introductory Certificate in Marketing/Foundation

Certificate in Marketing

An NVQ or SVQ Level 2 in any other subject

Be educated to A Level or Level 3 standard and have other appropriate qualifications approved by the CIM.
