Beauty Therapy Specialist Techniques - Level 2

Overview

This adult-only (19+), part-time course is ideal if you are interested in starting a career in the beauty industry or exploring a new career path. This is a free course (subject to meeting eligibility criteria) and is perfect for beginners, even if you have no previous experience in beauty therapy. If you are returning to learning after a break or starting something completely new, you will be supported by experienced tutors who have many years of experience helping adult learners succeed.

You will study in small class sizes alongside like-minded adults, creating a friendly and supportive learning environment. All practical training takes place in Revive, our professional commercial hair and beauty salon that is open to the public and equipped with industry-standard facilities that are unrivalled in the area, giving you valuable hands-on experience with real clients.

You will gain practical skills in a range of specialist beauty techniques, including manicures, make-up, waxing, and more. The topics within this course have been carefully selected as the perfect introduction to the world of beauty and will open the door to progression onto further study, employment, or self-employment, allowing you to start building your own client list.

  • Option 1: one day per week, 9.15am-4.15pm.
  • Option 2: two evenings per week, 5.00-8.30pm.

Don’t let paying for the course hold you back from achieving your goals. You can split the cost of this course over four instalments. If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£158.25) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then to be completed to enable the college to collect further three payments of £158.25. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

All hair and beauty courses require the purchase of a specific kit and uniform. It is your responsibility to finance these purchases independently, as there is no funding currently available. Please be aware that the price for the required kit is £35.20 and the price of the uniform is £45.80**. The prices for the required kit and uniform will be determined at the start of the year.
