Develop and improve your numeracy skills, for use in the workplace or personal benefit.

Description

The Adult Numeracy Certificate is available at Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 1 is equivalent to GCSE grades (D to F)

Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE grades (A to C)

 

How will I be assessed?

Timed multiple choice online or paper-based assessment.

What will I study?

  • whole numbers
  • fractions, decimals and percentages
  • common measures
  • shape and space
  • data and statistical measures
  • probability

What does the course lead to?

Getting a qualification will:

Give you more confidence in your own abilities
Show what you have achieved in your learning programme
Help you get onto other courses such as NVQs
Provide evidence of your skills to go on your CV
Show employers what you are capable of

Entry requirements

You will undertake an initial assessment and diagnostic to determine the correct level of study.
