Overview

You will study two half days per week and benefit from learning in a small group with those of a similar ability.

Description

In Year 10 you will focus on personal wellbeing, including team building, problem solving, healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, sex education and drug/alcohol awareness.

In Year 11 you continue with a focus on the above as well as exploring career progression, further education/study routes, employment skills including interview techniques, mock interviews and developing interpersonal skills.

What can I go on to study?

NOCN Step Up Awards – you will study a variety of units encompassing functional Literacy, Numeracy and ICT as well as units covering elements of the PLTS/PSHE framework.

Edexcel Functional Skills - Literacy, Numeracy and ICT – Entry Level 1 up to Level 2.
