Free events to help local people get back into work
A series of events offering advice and help to anyone currently unemployed
or facing redundancy have been organised in Newark and Sherwood.
The free events are open to anyone of any age looking for advice on employment,
education, housing, health, business start-up and benefits. Events will be held
in Ollerton, Blidworth, Newark, Clipstone and Bilsthorpe.
The sessions have been organised by Newark and Sherwood District Council's
economic development service with the support of West Nottinghamshire College.
Organisations attending the sessions will include:

- Housing benefits and housing options teams
- Business Link
- NHS Nottinghamshire County

- Working Links
- Guideline Career Services
- Newark and Sherwood Volunteers Bureau
- Nottinghamshire County Council Libraries
- Nottinghamshire Training Network
- Nottinghamshire Families Information Service and Enable
Not all organisations will attend every event. Different organisations will be
attending different sessions depending on the geography they cover. All sessions run from 10am to 2pm.
