Learning Advisor and Studio Coordinator: Music (Fixed term contract for 3 months)

The School of Creative Industries and Digital Technologies a wide range of vocational programmes from Entry Level to University level qualifications.

As Learning Advisor and Studio Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting teaching and learning within the School by being actively involved with the delivery tutors, in the delivery and assessment of learner’s practical skills.  In addition, you will support the management and operation of the educational (FE and HE) and the commercial operation of the recording studios and music facilities as well as providing an efficient and effective technical support by the safe maintenance of equipment, preparation areas and workshops.

The post holder will be expected to provide support to staff and Learners primarily within the Music area however; the post holder will be expected to provide support in others areas within the School structure should priorities require it.

In addition, you will support teaching and learning by supporting staff and students with the acquisition and development of ‘technical theatre’ skills.  Furthermore, you will take responsibility for supervising students involved in technical theatre activities including internal ‘work experience’ and the assessment of any appropriate apprentices.
