Web and MIS Developer, full time, permanent

As a Web and MIS Developer you will be responsible for the technical development, support and maintenance of the web and intranet development environment. These underpin the college’s information systems and the associated information and reporting requirements of those systems. The team is currently developing sector leading information systems to consolidate and display data.  You will be at the heart of these developments, creating innovative and dynamic applications for users.  These may include internal and external web and mobile applications along with internal database systems and reports.

A customer focused approach is essential to a role which will require you to work in a hands-on development role both independently and as part of a wider team either contributing to or managing small projects. You will assist the MIS Manager and other Developers on other larger and wider projects. Other requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills; analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately. Strict confidentiality should be maintained at all times.

You will have a related degree and have knowledge of web development.
