The Construction and Building Services team deliver education and training to a range of learners wishing to develop knowledge, understanding and transferable skills relating to the Construction industry. As Programme Area Leader of a team, you will lead and oversee curriculum planning and activity for the related programmes to include a variety of additional short courses to ensure innovative, quality provision. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager and the Head of School to plan, monitor, manage and evaluate the offer.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience, relevant teaching/training qualification and experience, together with experience of leading and supporting colleagues.

You will be a highly self motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy.  You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets.

You will be a role model for college learners and will work to the classroom professional standards.

This post carries a commitment of 732 delivery hours.

The role will require you to embed the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.
