Now available at the college, young people from the age of 12, as well as adults, can book on to regular or ad-hoc lessons in vocal coaching, piano, keyboard, guitar and bass guitar.

Also available is flute, clarinet and saxophone tuition as well as one-to-one and small group music theory sessions. All tutors are music industry professionals with a wealth of experience in their field.

Prices start from around £12 per half hour and £25 per hour dependent on age and are available weekday evenings from 5pm. The sessions are suitable for both beginners and those with some musical experience.

Create Theatre co-ordinator, Cat Orton, said: “We’re very excited to be able to offer the local community the opportunity to get a taste for music and to receive quality music tuition here at Create.

“We hope to encourage people who may never have sung or tried to play a musical instrument before to come and try something new at their local college, as well as entice those who perhaps want to freshen up rusty skills or develop their existing technique, hopefully catering for all needs."

Create also hope to extend this provision in the coming months to include acting audition prep sessions, contemporary dance and drum tuition as well as holiday masterclasses run by top industry professionals.”

To book on to a music session or for more information, contact Create on 01623 627191 ext 8301 or email info@createtheatre.co.uk for further details of class availability.
