We have a string of awards and accolades to demonstrate the excellence we provide in all aspects of our business.
In 2010 we were ranked 14th best place to work in the public sector by The Sunday Times, we also retained our prestigious star rating in the 2010 Best Companies accreditation scheme, which recognise organisations that show high levels of employee engagement. In fact, we are the only FE college in the East Midlands – and one of just a handful across the country – to be accredited.
The college achieved the Training Quality Standard in recognition of our high-quality work with employers, while our Information, Advice and Guidance team scooped the Matrix national quality standard for the advice offered to learners.
We have also been awarded our Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents bronze award for our commitment to health and safety, and Association of Colleges Beacon Award for saving £5 million through smart procurement.
We are proud to be a Beacon college – the first in Nottinghamshire to earn this status, in recognition of education providers that are exceptionally well managed and deliver outstanding teaching and learning. In 2008 Ofsted judged us outstanding across the board, praising our links with employers, support for students and value for money.
