Supplier registration on In-Tend

In order to tender with West Nottinghamshire College you will need to use our online tendering site for both obtaining the documents and making your final return.

Since you may be new to electronic tendering, please find below a simple guide to the steps required to begin tendering with us.

To use the site you will need to visit the following web address:

https://in-tendhost.co.uk/fe/asp/home.asp

You may want to add this address to your 'favourites' folder to make it quick to access in future.

The first thing to do is register your organisation with West Nottinghamshire College, to do this follow these steps:

  1. Click on "New User Registration"
  2. On the first screen enter all your main organisation details, click NEXT
  3. On the next screen enter your business type. Click on the search button and you will be presented with a list of all the possible business types. Select the ones that match your organisation, and double click each one to move them into the bottom box. Click NEXT
  4. On the next screen you are required to enter contacts for your organisation. These are the details of the people that will actually be logging into the system, and you may add as many as you like but would suggest you keep this to one person.

Click on ADD, then fill in the details for the person you wish to login to access tender documentation and correspondence. You must specify a password that will be your login password. Click OK.

You can repeat this step for as many people as you wish to add, however one contact is fine and can save a lot of future confusion. Click NEXT.

Finally you will now see a summary of all your organisation’s details, check them over then click REGISTER MY DETAILS in order to complete the registration.

All you have to do now is wait for us to accept your registration, and when this is done you will receive an email from us with your login details, once you have this you will be able to log into the site to begin tendering. When you have been accepted you will receive an email advising you when our tender documents have been published to the website. This means you can begin tendering with us.

To complete a tender follow these steps:

  1. Go to the tendering site and log in using your new login details. There is a login button on the left where you can enter them.
  2. Once logged in, click the MY TENDERS button on the left.
  3. You will now have sight of any current invitations to tender, click VIEW TENDER DETAILS.
  4. You will now see a red button called VIEW DOCUMENTS.
  5. You are now in the main tender screen. From here it is a simple process of downloading the documents, filling them in using Word, or your Office software, then uploading your saved completed files containing your responses which you can then submit. Please see below for more detailed instruction:

First download/save the documents from the box titles TENDER DOCUMENTS RECEIVED. Now have a read of the documents, they will tell you about the tender and what we want back from your organisation. If any documents require completion, remember to save your answers. You will now have the completed documents ready for returning.

On the same page as before (follow the above steps 1 to 5) you can now upload and submit your tender.

In the middle of the screen click BROWSE and navigate to your desktop or where your saved documents are, now click on the documents and click OPEN.

Now click UPLOAD and the document will upload to your return screen, which you will be able to see in the DOCUMENTS FOR RETURN box.

Repeat this process of browsing and uploading for each document you wish to return, one at a time.

Once you are happy that your return is all present, you need to finally click SUBMIT at the bottom of the page to make your final submission.

You will get a receipt for your submission you may wish to print off for your own records.

If you get stuck at any time, read the screen you are on - full instructions are there to guide you. For technical problems, please use the HELP button on the left to call the InTend technical support team.

If you have questions relating to the actual tender itself, of information contained within the tender documents then you will need to contact us at the procurement team directly, our telephone number is within the tender documentation.
