Derby Road campus closed Friday 10 September 2010.

There has been an incident involving some damage to a classroom ceiling at the college’s Derby Road campus.

As a precautionary measure and to safeguard the health and safety of our students and staff, we will be closing the Derby Road campus on Friday 10 September 2010 only. Students with an exam at Derby Road on 10 September should report as normal and they will be directed to a safe location for their exam. The nursery will remain open as usual as this is in a separate building and is therefore not affected.

All other college campuses remain open as usual.

We will be undertaking a thorough assessment of the situation over the weekend and will be making a further announcement through the local media and the college’s website on Sunday 12 September 2010.
