There has been an incident involving some damage to a classroom ceiling at the college’s Derby Road campus.
As a precautionary measure and to safeguard the health and safety of our students and staff, we will be closing the Derby Road campus on Friday 10 September 2010 only. Students with an exam at Derby Road on 10 September should report as normal and they will be directed to a safe location for their exam. The nursery will remain open as usual as this is in a separate building and is therefore not affected.
All other college campuses remain open as usual.

As an employed student you will learn both in the workplace and at College, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money at the same time.
You'll get paid a proper wage for the work you’re doing, gain genuine work experience in the industry of your choice and receive excellent teaching and support from College. You will work towards National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in an area relevant to the job you will be doing and for your future career.
These qualifications are highly regarded by employers because they demonstrate that you have the skills and practical experience they require.
Another positive aspect of NVQs is that they can incorporate a degree of flexibility to support an employer’s individual needs.
